Ilya finshed 13th and Colin finished 15th overall in the 200 yard freestyle’s.
The woman’s 200 IM was lead by sophomore Joyce Zabala, and juniors Jake Valley and Gavin Oakley. Even though Joyce looks like she in slow motion when she is swimming, she led her heat the entire way! She finished 11th overall with a best time of 2:46.00. Jake also had a great race during his head and touched out the competitor in the lane next to him to win his heat. He finished 9th overall with a time of 2:20.08. Gavin finished 6th overall and qualified for district while swimming his race in a time of 2:16.8.
The fastest event in swimming is the 50 freestyle and the fastest Hornets swam it in style.
